Plain Packable Travel Blanket - Black

Soft and warm! I bought this and another one from this same brand to see if they shed. I purchased them in black and rubbed them against my white couch. This blanket left very minimal fuzzies behind, it was the winner! I washed before use and it came out just as soft as when I got it. It will definitely be a travel staple for me going forward as I freeze on nearly every flight. My one complaint is it’s really not that compact. It takes up a lot of room in a suitcase, it’s like packing another sweatshirt. I wish the cover it came with was a little smaller so you could really shove it in to make it as compact as possible.

I ordered this to use on a long-haul flight. I wanted something to put over my legs initially and then use for sleeping onboard later. Whilst many airlines give blankets, the quality and size usually isn’t great. I wanted something that I had washed at home in my nice-smelling fabric softener and would be a pleasant addition to my flight experience. I have washed it, and it washes well. It dries very quickly. I ordered this in black because of possible spillages! The carabiner clip is a little flimsy, and the blanket weight is a bit on the heavier side, so I might replace the clip with a stronger one. However, I’ll most likely place this in my backpack. It has a slip for going over case handles which is good, but I’d be scared as it’s not waterproof, and it might get wet.

The blanket was exactly what I needed on the cold five-hour flight.
